Thursday, October 1, 2026 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (CDT)
Description
Join the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma – Tulsa Chapter on October 1 for a special Healthcare Leadership Forum, sponsored by Ascension St. John.
This panel will bring together leaders from two major tribal healthcare systems: Lindsay King, MBA Chief Strategy Officer, Osage Nation Health System Shawn Terry Secretary of Health, Muscogee Nation Department of Health Healthcare is not only essential to the well-being of our communities—it is also a significant economic driver throughout northeastern Oklahoma.
Our panelists will discuss the continued growth and evolution of tribal healthcare, partnerships between tribal and non-tribal healthcare systems, and what that growth means for the greater Tulsa business community.
The conversation will explore areas including economic development, workforce needs, construction and expansion, procurement and contracting opportunities, technology, professional services, and opportunities for Native-owned and local businesses to build relationships within the healthcare sector. Both organizations represent significant healthcare operations in our region. Muscogee Nation Health operates hospitals, health centers and specialty services across its reservation, including Council Oak Comprehensive Healthcare in Tulsa, while Osage Nation Health System continues to expand its services and capacity.
For AICCO members, this is an opportunity to better understand where healthcare is headed, where investment is taking place, and how businesses can position themselves to participate in that growth. Healthcare impacts nearly every part of our regional economy—from the people we employ and the communities where we operate to the businesses that build, supply, support and serve our healthcare systems.
We want to Thank our sponsor:
